Captive wildlife photography – Michael Nichols

Nichols is an American photographer, who works with National Geographic and was once a member of Magnum Photos.

Though he photographs true “wild” life, he also uses captive animals in his work  , specializing in tigers. His work consists of beautiful close up and action portraits of these Tigers , with beautiful details and colour.

This again helps boost my belief that it is possible to create beautiful imagery working in this environment.
